WWE Crown Jewel: Logan Paul suffers serious injury v Roman Reigns

WWE The 2022 edition of the Crown Jewel took to Saudi Arabia once again yesterday and it’s safe to say it’s going to be one heck of a spectacle, with the main event really stealing the show.

Logan Paul Challenged Roman Dominion And while many were skeptical going into the match due to the YouTuber’s lack of experience in the ring, boy did he deliver.

It’s worth noting that he’s only wrestled twice before in WWE, so going up against the Tribal Chief in his third match is highly unusual and rare.

Although he impressed everyone with his main event performance, the night ended badly for Paul as not only did he lose to Reigns, but he also suffered a very serious knee injury.

What is Logan Paul’s injury from the Crown Jewel?

Paul announced after last night’s show that he was suffering from multiple knee injuries following his match against Reigns and due to the severity, it means he could miss the next year. WrestleMania.

Paul took to Twitter to confirm that he tore his meniscus and MCL, as well as tearing his ACL to add to his previous injuries.

On Instagram Live, Paul showed himself with his brother JakeJoking about the injuries he sustained, his girlfriend later wheeled him around the airport.

Paul eventually lost the match, as both Jake Paul and The Bloodline entered the ring midway through the match. However, Reigns was ultimately victorious, retaining his title in the process after landing a Superman Punch on Paul, who re-entered the ring and then finished the match with a spear.

Elsewhere, Brock Lesnar defeated Bobby Lashley After the 46-year-old countered Hurt Lock and luckily pinned Lashley to pick up the win.

Asuka and Alexa Bliss vs. Dakota Kai and Io Skye

In a rematch for the Women’s Tag Team Titles, Dakota Kai and Io Skye managed to reinstate themselves as champions, as Nikki Cross attacked Alexa Bliss when the referee wasn’t looking, allowing Dakota Kai to get an easy pin.

Carrion Cross vs. Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre managed to get the better of Cross.

OC vs. The Judgment Day

Judgment Day won the match as Finn Balor unloaded the coup de grace on AJ Styles.

Omos vs. Braun Strowman

Strowman won the Battle of the Giants.

The Undisputed Tag Team Championships returned to The Usos with a victory over The Brawling Brutes.

Bianca Bellaire v. Bayley

Belair was able to pick up the win by trapping Bayley in a cleverly placed ladder between the ropes.
