A four-minute track titled “Nothing Is Lost (You Give Me Strength)” was featured this time. Avatar: The Way of the Water‘s end credits and arrives a day ahead of the film’s official December 16 wide release in the United States. The track, written and performed by The Weeknd and produced by Swedish House Mafia alongside Simon Franglen, is a percussive battle call that celebrates life, death and resilience and was featured in the film’s trailer ahead of its full release on Thursday.
The Weeknd teased the song back on December 4, posting a teaser of the song to his Instagram and Twitter. Avatar Logo with post title of movie release date.
