The Rock’s dad was somehow more jacked than him during his career

The Rock is, without a doubt, one of the most physically imposing men to ever step foot inside a WWE ring.

Although now in his 50s, the former WWE Champion would be one of the most stacked WWE Superstars on the roster if he wrestled tomorrow.

Taking that into account, it is incredible that Dwayne Johnson’s father was bigger than him during his wrestling career.

Rock’s father was great

Without knowing who Rocky Johnson is, fans automatically assume he is younger than their son, The Rock.

However, at the height of his career as a wrestler, Rocky was actually bigger than his son Dwayne, and it’s hard to believe.

Don’t believe us, you can check out the image below for yourself, which shows Rocky in his prime and The Rock now…

Rock’s dad was absolutely huge

The Rock is certainly not small, and is one of the most physically imposing men to ever work for WWE, but his father was really big at the height of his career.

Rocky had a short stint with WWE between 1982 and 1985, winning the Tag Team Championship once with Tony Atlas before being inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2008.

Latest news on The Rock

The Rock is rumored to return to WWE in early 2023, setting up a match with his cousin Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39.

The match has been rumored for the past few years, with Hollywood as the venue for next year.

As of now, there’s no word on when The Rock will return to WWE TV, but if he’s challenging for Reigns’ Undisputed Universal Title, a Royal Rumble victory in January could be in the cards.

The Rock hasn’t appeared on TV since SmackDown’s debut on FOX in October 2019, with WWE hoping the Hollywood megastar’s appearances will lead to a bump in the ratings.

His supposed match with Reigns was the first announced match since his WWE Championship showdown with John Cena at WrestleMania 29 in 2013.

The Rock defeated Erick Rowan in just six seconds at WrestleMania 32 in 2016, but the match was not announced beforehand and instead surprised the crowd.
