‘The most underrated’ star set for imminent return after lengthy absence

WWE is now said to be ready to welcome Robert Roode back to TV after his lengthy injury layoff.

Triple H is considering bringing Roode back to TV soon, assuming he is cleared to return to the ring.

Fans are excited about Roode’s prospects in WWE, as ‘The Game’ is working against Vince McMahon.

Is Robert Roode returning to WWE TV?

Roode hasn’t wrestled since June when Vince McMahon was WWE CEO, but that’s about to change.

PWInsider The former NXT Champion was reportedly spotted in Birmingham this week and is hopeful he is close to being cleared to return to the ring.

Bobby Roode appeared yesterday in Birmingham, Alabama. Hearing this morning, we hope he will be back soon from his injury problems. We’re told he spoke for the Smackdown brand when he returned.

Sounds like the rood once described “One of the most underrated guys in WWE” Eric Young uses Triple H when he is able to return to the ring.

The report, which you can see above, claims that Roode has been in talks to move to SmackDown when he’s able to wrestle again, which would be a huge addition to the brand.

At the time of writing, there is no word on the plans Triple H has for Roode in WWE, other than he is expected to be on SmackDown.

However, considering HHH made him one of their top stars during their time together in NXT, fans can be optimistic about the 46-year-old within the company.

Because of his age and experience, fans expect Roode to transition into a producer or trainer role before too long, but in the short term, it seems there are plans to have him on TV.

On his day, Roode is one of the most solid in-ring workers WWE has, so bringing him back to TV can only be a positive thing for the people who work with him.
