The latest trailer for Ryan Coogler’s upcoming Black Panther: Wakanda Forever The sequel offers an even better look at the new Black Panther.

The trailer, which tells the emotional story of the loss of the late Chadwick Boseman’s character, son King, T’Challa, also teases the next Black Panther, but doesn’t directly reveal the new protector of the African nation of Wakanda.

A mural of King T’Challa appears at one point in the trailer, as Marvel Studios would do well to have the sequel honor the late Boseman, whose character was not recast for the sequel.

But the mystery of the trailer is: Who will be the next Black Panther?

“They’ve lost their protector,” says Queen Ramonda, played by Angela Bassett, as the Wakandans come under attack after the death of King T’Challa, including the hidden sea nation of Talokan.

“Now is the time for us to strike… show them who we are,” Queen Ramonda declares. Then, from the sky, a woman in a black suit descends swiftly, as the trailer teases the upcoming Black Panther.

Wakanda Forever It is the sequel to Coogler’s 2018 film, which became a cultural touch and earned a Best Picture Oscar nomination. Coogler wrote the sequel black Panther Star Boseman was preceded in death.

Coogler and Marvel Studios then worked on how to move forward while honoring Boseman’s legacy.

Wakanda Forever Starring Lupita Nyong’o, Wright, Winston Duke, Danai Gurira, Florence Kasumba, Bassett and Martin Freeman, as well as Marvel newcomers Tenoch Huerta Namor and Dominic Thorne as protagonist Riri Williams.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever It will hit theaters on November 11.
