Kurt Angle looks so much more jacked now than during his wrestling career

Kurt Angle is, without a doubt, one of the best professional wrestlers to ever step foot inside a WWE ring.

Despite having a trophy-laden career within the WWE, Kurt struggled with personal demons and addiction issues that stopped his run from getting even better.

However, Angle has put those issues in the rearview mirror and is now in the best shape of his life.

Kurt Angle is in amazing shape right now

Kurt was never in bad shape during his time as a wrestler, but now that he’s allowed his body to recover after retiring in 2019, he’s in the best shape of his life.

In fact, as you can see from the side-by-side comparisons below, Angle is much more jacked and lean than he was during his time as an active performer for WWE.

Latest news on Kurt Angle

Despite being in the best shape of his life, Angle has expressed many times that he has no desire to return to the ring after his final match with Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35 in April 2019.

Angle recently underwent double knee surgery to deal with injury issues he suffered while an active wrestler for both WWE and TNA (now Impact Wrestling).

Unfortunately for the former WWE Champion, he revealed during one of his latest ‘The Kurt Angle Show’ Podcasts where he’s dealing with some memory loss issues, that’s a real heartbreaking update.

Kurt was in talks with WWE earlier in the year to return to a non-wrestling role that would have seen him on Raw alongside RK-Bro and Alpha Academy, but that fell through.

He’ll also be returning to WWE this summer on Raw, but it doesn’t look like he’ll be starting a full-time run anytime soon.

The good news is that Kurt seems to be in a better place physically and mentally now than when he was an active wrestler, which is definitely good to see.
